QUESTIONS
-
Can I crush and
mix the lozenge with water?
Resolve™ is meant to
be absorbed sublingually. The lozenge must remain in the mouth for at least
10 minutes to allow it to dissolve. The lozenge can be broken in the mouth
to assist with the dissolving time.
-
The lozenge takes
longer than 10 minutes to dissolve, can I throw it out?
You should not throw
the remaining lozenge out. The active ingredient is spread throughout the
entire lozenge. Breaking the lozenge half way through will speed up the
time it takes for the lozenge to completely dissolve.
-
Can I smoke while
using Resolve™?
Yes. There is no
need to stop smoking prior to using Resolve™. Resolve™ allows you to
gradually reduce the amount you smoke until eventually all desire to smoke
is mostly reduced, or completely eliminated.
-
How does Resolve™
help me to stop smoking?
Resolve™ interferes
with your body's ability to properly metabolize nicotine. Over time your
body uses less of the nicotine from cigarettes. Eventually any physical
benefit from smoking is mostly reduced or eliminated. In essence even
though you are smoking, you are actually reducing the amount of nicotine
you consume each day. Resolve™ also recommends a gradual reduction in
smoking. It is recommended to reduce 4 cigarettes per day per week. This
reduction helps to gently reduce the physical and mental withdrawal
symptoms of smoking cessation. The chemical addiction to nicotine is
largely addressed through the use of Resolve™.
-
Can I use Resolve™
while using other nicotine replacement products?
There is no harm in
taking Resolve™ while using other nicotine replacement products, but
Resolve™ will render these other therapies less effective. Resolve™
naturally blocks nicotine. You are using nicotine products to replace the
nicotine you are not getting from your cigarettes. Using Resolve™ would be
quite counterproductive for NRT users.
-
What kind of
smoking reduction can I expect?
We recommend a 4
cigarette per day per week reduction. Based on 25 cigarettes per day, week
one there is no reduction, week 2, 21 cigarettes per day, week 3, 17
cigarettes per day and so on until you are smoke free.
-
How long will it
take to feel the effects of Resolve™?
Most people start to
feel some changes in 1-2 weeks. This includes a reduced desire to smoke,
and an enhanced sense of taste.
-
How long will it
take for me to stop smoking?
In clinical studies
using Resolve™ test subjects were able to stop smoking in as little as 3
weeks. For a typical 1 pack a day smoker using the Resolve™ reduction
plan, you would be smoke free in approximately 5-6 weeks. The program
however allows for you to extend or stop early so results may vary
depending on your personal experience.
-
If I don't quit
smoking completely, can I still use Resolve™?
Resolve™ can be used
to reduce cravings for those who do not wish to stop smoking completely.
It can also be used to dramatically reduce the amount smoked. Resolve™ can
be used as often as needed without any problems.
-
I am a diabetic,
will Resolve™ effect my blood sugar?
Resolve™ is sugar
free and has only 1 calorie per lozenge. It should not cause adverse
fluctuations in blood glucose levels.
-
How long does 1
box of Resolve™ last?
Each box of Resolve™
lasts 1 week. There are 7 blister strips per package, each containing 10
lozenges. The daily dosage is 10 lozenges per day or 1 full blister strip.
-
Does the dosage
vary based on body weight and sex?
The dosage is set at
10 lozenges per day. It does not change based on body weight or sex.
-
Does Resolve™
completely eliminate withdrawal symptoms?
Resolve™
dramatically reduces the symptoms associated with smoking cessation. Many
users have commented that they had no desire to smoke by the end of their
program. Results of course will vary from user to user.

What is the active
ingredient Cestemenol-350™?
Resolve™ is the
brand name for a patent pending lozenge tablet that contains the active
ingredient Cestemenol-350™, a proprietary compound derived from natural
sources through fermentation extraction of; Passiflora incarnate (passion
flower) and Abies balsamea L. (balsam fir). Both plant sources have
provided various active compounds for traditional naturopathic therapies,
but none with more impact than Cestemenol-350™. This fraction has been
shown to help individuals who are addicted to nicotine gradually wean
themselves off cigarettes naturally without having to quit "cold turkey",
and noticeably without the anxiety associated with nicotine withdrawal.
Cestemenol-350™ was clinically tested and validated by a group of
scientists that participated in a privately funded and operated research
project focused on finding a nicotine-free therapy.
Cestemenol-350™ is an unsaturated heterocyclic gamma pyrone FEMA GRAS USP
grade powder, white to off white-cream crystalline solid highly soluble in
water. Cestemenol-350™ is supplied for oral administration in one
strength; each 1.4gm lozenge tablet contains 150mg of active ingredients
and appears white in colour, 5/8'' round biconvex and debossed with
"C-350" on one side. The following inactive ingredients combine to make
the controlled release matrices and mucoadhesive microspheres: xylitol,
cellulose, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, natural peppermint flavour,
gum arabic, cetylpyridinium chloride monohydrate (antimicrobial)
